Robo Hamster Care

11310586065_hi039.jpgRobo dwarf hamster care is generally the same care as the other dwarf hamster breeds. When buying supplies keep their small size in mind.

A 10 gallon aquarium can make an ideal home for one or two full grown adults.
Use a breathable lid that allows air flow and also protects your pet from items being dropped into his home  or other pets entering!
Situate their home in a  well ventilated,  draft free area, that is never in direct sunlight or near heaters or fans.
They are natural gnawing creatures and would appreciate wooden untreated chewable toys, not plastic. Plastic bits can break off and hurt your pets mouth.
Dwarf hamsters may be tiny but they like to travel. They have been known to put 5 miles on their wheel exercising in a day!
Use an exercise wheel that is geared for their size and that is solid without rungs.

As they are natural burrowing animals, using about 2 inches of bedding all over their cage floor will help to satisfy their need to dig and burrow.

Dust free as possible bedding, that is prepackaged for hamsters, can be found easily at the pet store.

Change the bedding at least once a week and more often if there are two rooming together.

Russian Dwarf Hamsters Vs Chinese Dwarf Hamsters

01310586068_three-hamsters-small1.jpgRussian and Chinese dwarf hamsters have been battling for ages. O.K. not really, but a battle of sorts has been happening. For a long time, pet owners have been battling with the decision between owning Russian dwarf hamsters or Chinese dwarf hamsters. I myself love both so much I would never be able to choose one over the other. In this article I’ll go over both kinds hamsters and a few of their differences and similarities.
The most noticeable difference between these two kinds of hamsters is appearance. Sure they are both very cute and very small, but they also look very different. The Chinese dwarf hamster looks more mouse-like than other hamsters. He actually has a tiny tail (about an inch long). He’s also more slender than the Russian dwarf hamster, who sometimes looks more like a small hamster-ball. They’re both around the same size, about four inches long, although there are species of Russian hamsters that are much smaller (the Robo Russian dwarf hamster only grows to about two inches long).
One of my favorite parts about both Russian and Chinese hamsters are their fur patterns.

How To Use YouTube To Market Your Business Effectively

Yes, YouTube is a great place to see hamsters roller skating and people falling into wedding cakes, but used correctly, it can be a great way to market your business. Here are three ideas on how to harness the power of YouTube for your business. They both have oh-so-magnificent colors and patterns, but they are very different from each other. The Chinese hamster usually has a black line that runs down his spine and a belly that is white. Other Chinese hamsters have spots of color distributed across their backs. Russian dwarf hamsters, on the other hand, come in a whole slew of colors and patterns. This is because they’ve been bred specifically as beautiful pets for many generations. They range in colors from white to sandy brown to dark grey and have a number of different patterns that also including a dominant stripe down the back similar to that of the Chinese hamster.
Not only do Russian dwarf hamsters differ in appearance from Chinese dwarf hamsters, they also have a great difference in behavior as well.
One major difference between the two is that Russian dwarf hamsters are more social while Chinese hamsters are sometimes a bit anti social and have trouble with their roommates (especially the females!). But although they may be a bit less social, the Chinese hamsters are also less problematic in that you shouldn’t have to worry about them nipping at you. This is something that the Russian dwarf hamsters tend to do more.
As you can see, Chinese dwarf hamsters and Russian dwarf hamsters are both very similar and very different at the same time. They are both great pets to own and I would suggest you give them both a chance (although Chinese hamsters are harder to find s

Russian Dwarf Hamster Care

21310586071_hamster5.jpgThe Russian Dwarf Hamster is a term that usually refers to several different types as well as the Winter White Russian Dwarf hamster, Campbell’s Russian Dwarf hamster, and Roborovski’s Dwarf hamster. The Russian Winter White’s and Campbell’s Russian dwarf hamsters could also be mistaken for just one breed due to their similar size of around 8 to 10 centimeters and their coloring. The Roborovski hamster is normally the smallest of these three hamsters and it normally only grows to around 4 to 5 centimeters.
Winter White dwarf hamsters can be a lot rarer than the Campbell’s dwarf hamster at local pet stores. They are normally sold in pairs of the same sex and are very friendly. What is also so incredible about these little critters is their ability to change their color in the winter months. In their native home environment, Winter Whites (incredibly) change from their normal dark grey coloring to white in order to camouflage themselves and escape from predators in the snow.

Dwarf Hamster Behavior

The Dwarf Hamster has often unfairly been given a reputation for being ill-tempered and aggressive. This type of behavior is often a result from being mishandled or a sudden disturbance that has left them feeling threatened. Providing a Dwarf hamster toy is going the extra mile towards expressing your affection for it, and hamsters are really quite easy to please. Any toy which gives their tiny legs some exercise like a hamster wheel is a good option. Who said that it is only humans who have all the fun? Make your hamster’s life a happy one by going the extra mile and providing a Dwarf hamster toy! Robo Dwarf Hamster Tips

The Robo hamster also known as the Roborovskii or Robby hamster is the smallest of the dwarf hamsters. Full adult size is approximately two inches in length! This little animal is very quick and active making this breed more difficult to handle and best suited for older children and adults that prefer to watch their pet’s crazy antics as opposed to holding them. Dwarf Hamster Aquarium

Be it glass or plastic, the same type of aquarium you would house fish in, you can use for your pet dwarf hamster! A minimum 10 gallon aquarium for one dwarf hamster and use a larger size if you have two or a mother with a litter. Remember to always provide your pet with ample space to move and run around! The aquarium will provide many benefits using it for your pets home.It is an ability that has even followed them even into captivity today. The process of their color change has to do with the amount of natural sunlight they receive on a daily basis. The shorter the hours of day light the quicker is their change to white. Winter Whites that are exposed to mainly artificial light will most probably not change their color.
Campbell’s Russian dwarf hamsters can also be known as Djungaria hamsters because they originate from the region in Mongolia called Djungaria. This it the type of dwarf hamsters that are most commonly found in your local pet stores. The growth of their popularity was equally matched by the growth of creative breeding and also lent itself to an increase in many variations of their color combinations and markings. As well as their natural or normal wild color, those wanting to obtain these hamsters can also find them with spots, mottled, or even warmer colors like cinnamon, black or even shades or blue or lilac.
Roboroski dwarf hamsters can often be found in their normal habitats in the desert dunes of Western and Eastern regions of Mongoilia and even in some parts of Northern China. Being slightly smaller then their White Winter and Campbell’s dwarf hamster nephews, they have slightly longer legs. Their coat is normally sandy brown in color that has a slate grey undercoat. Because of their high energy levels, they can sometimes be a little bit harder to keep as pets and it is worth noting that they are too small for most wire cages. The majority of these small critters can squeeze themselves through the bars. One of the good traits ot the Roboroski hamster is that it is an extremely clean animal. Most of its time is spent grooming itself and they also love a nice dust bath.
Besides the fact that there are many kinds of Russian Dwarf Hamsters, they all require about the same amount of care. Another point to remember is that dwarf hamsters can be very fast to escape ,so it can be an advantage to give them a little more time and exercise outside of the cage with the use a small hamster ball. These balls are especially made so that the hamster can run around your floor without getting lost. It might be worth pointing out that (as a word of caution), don’t let them play too close too stairways.
